The Tallahassee Ballet offers a variety of special events throughout the season, which provide unique opportunities for patrons and supporters to get involved and support the ballet, beyond attending our performances.

The Divine Sisterhood of the Costume Closet

Each of the beautiful, painstakingly detailed costumes worn by The Tallahassee Ballet dancers are custom made by resident costume designer Ann Todd. This annual girls’ night out is an opportunity to raise money for the costume fund at The Tallahassee Ballet and features a cocktail hour, dancing, live music and a delicious dinner.

The date for the 2018 Divine Sisterhood event has been set for Saturday, February 24. Sign up for our newsletter to learn more as we get closer to this annual girls’ night out.

Lisa C. Graganella Golf Classic

Our annual tournament is The Tallahassee Ballet’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from this event not only raise the supplemental funds needed to present quality ballet productions annually, but also help to support our many community outreach programs including DanceChance. Through this program, TTB provides tuition-free instruction and dancewear to economically disadvantaged children. Nine public elementary schools and one middle school participate in the DanceChance program.

The event is held at the Southwood Golf Club, an upscale 18-hole course designed by PGA professional golfer Fred Couples. Participants enjoy first-class golf and a chance to win one of three top prizes, door prizes and silent auction items donated by The Tallahassee Ballet Board of Directors, dancers and local businesses, ranging from cruises to jewelry and gift certificates.

Date: Monday March 5, 2018 at 12 pm.
